What better time to offer your time and talents to the church than during Lent in preparation for Easter?  All are welcome to make a limited time commitment to one of our groups through Easter to see if the music ministry is something to which you would like to make a long-term commitment.  The choir rehearsal times have changed and we hope they will better suit all of our busy schedules.

Mass follows at 10:30am

FOLK CHOIR

Rehearsal every other Saturday 4:15-4:50PM

Mass follows at 5:00PM

Rehearsal one Sunday a month 11:00-11:45am

On Good Friday, March 21, please join your fellow parishioners for your choice of either a fish fry or fish bake dinner served in the Church Lower Level.  The first seating will follow the Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion, with a second seating to follow.  Take-out orders will be available.  All meals will require pre-payment.  More details will follow.

Held at Loyola House of Retreats in Morristown, NJ.  Each year at this time, men of our parish join in unity for this spiritual weekend.  Retreatants are assigned single rooms and all meals are provided.  There are no fees attached to this weekend.  Loyola operates solely on free will offerings.  For information and details, contact John Truglio at (732) 469-3886 or vjohntruglio@aol.com.

Next weekend, February 23 and 24, the Knights of Columbus will be handing out baskets for our annual Easter family food drive.  Please take a basket home and fill it with items needed to prepare an Easter dinner for a family of four.  These baskets will be given to the needy of La Asuncion parish in Perth Amboy. 

                (Checks for fresh food items can be made out to the Knights of Columbus and dropped off on the weekend at the Sunday Office in an envelope marked “K of C Easter Food Donation.”)

                Please have your family pray for the people who will be receiving your basket.  May the Lord bless them and fill them with His special care.
