Fr. Eamon Drew was born in Morristown and has several siblings. He attended St. Agnes (Atlantic Highlands) and St Catharine's (Spring Lake) grammar schools, St Rose (Belmar) High School, Rider University (double major in Math and Secondary Education), and Immaculate Conception Seminary (M.Div and MA in Systematics).

Fr. Eamon taught and coached at Msgr Donovan High School in Toms River, NJ until he entered the St. Mary's Abbey in 1997. He professed simple vows in 1999, solemn vows in 2004, and was ordained to the diaconate in 2006. Fr. Eamon was ordained to the priesthood on April 14, 2007.

Fr. Eamon is an avid distance runner who won a state championship in high school and received a scholarship to college.
